Cologne’s Mardi Gras celebrations and Kölsch beer may be world famous, but not so many people know that the Rhineland also has a delicious range of culinary specialities on offer. Discovering them and working out what their weird and wonderful names mean is an experience in itself. Take the dish Halve Hahn, for example. A German would be forgiven for thinking it is a chicken dish (Hahn: rooster), but it is actually entirely vegetarian.

Conference guests can enjoy the wide selection of food and drink served in our restaurant during the week. Our friendly catering service is also available on request. In the evening you can settle down in the hotel’s bar area and enjoy a tasty snack or a glass of wine from the Rhineland.
